How to Get There by Car
From Saranda or Ksamil: Head toward Gjirokastra on road SH99. After about 20 km, you’ll see the Blue Eye signpost on your right. Tip: Set “Blue Eye Albania” in Google Maps for accurate navigation.
From Gjirokastra: Drive toward Saranda and after 18 km you’ll see the entrance on your left.
Parking and Entry
There is an official parking area near the entrance (200–300 ALL). From the parking lot, it’s a beautiful 15–20 minute walk through the forest to the spring. The entry fee is 100 ALL per person.
Tip: Go early in the morning (before 10:00 AM) to avoid the crowds, especially in July–August.
What Car Do You Need?
The road to the parking area is paved, so a small car is perfectly fine. No need for an SUV. A Seat Ibiza or Skoda Rapid from Rent Point Albania is an excellent choice.
